The Writing Lab is designed to assist all currently enrolled HFCC students with writing. The lab is intended not only for students enrolled in English courses, but also for any HFCC student, part-time or full-time, who may use its services on a drop-in or referral basis. There is no charge.  However, students who have paid tuition and enrolled in the one-credit writing lab course, ENG 086, will be given priority.  Drop-in students may be limited to fifteen minutes if other students are waiting. 

Writing Lab instructors will discuss assignments, highlight patterns of errors, and model some corrections.  We will provide as much assistance with your writing as time allows.
