Lesson on Basic Logarithmss and Answers This worksheet does a great job of helping Algebra and Precalculus students to understand exponential and logarithmic functions, as well as the relationship between the two. Students can learn and practice proper calculator entry, using Properties and Laws of Logarithms, expanding and condensing logarithmic expressions, solving logarithmic equations, and solving application problems.

There are also more Practice Problems and Answers you can use.

Web Resources:

This site  is a wonderful introductory site with great explanations, examples and practice problems.

This site gives a good explanation of logarithms, plenty of details of how to solve problems and evaluate expressions, and several examples and practice problems.

This site  has very clear and nicely presented examples and practice problems. Be sure to scroll to the bottom to go to the link for solving equations.

This site has many science applications. This is a “.pdf” file, so you will need to install Adobe Acrobat to view this. There are answers at the end to selected exercices, but there are also plenty of examples with explanations.
