6.     If you are having difficulty with a section come to the Henry Ford Community College Learning Lab for help.

Remember:  Time yourself!  Try to complete as many of the twenty one questions as you can in twenty minutes.

The actual NET Test:  Reading Section will have 33 questions, and you will have 30 minutes to complete it.

In each case, you are trying to earn a final score of at least 65.

8.     After the computer has scored your test, analyze the questions you answered incorrectly by using the Type of Question List.  Circle the number of the questions you answered incorrectly.

9.   Then count up the number of each type of questions you answered correctly and write it in the printable Diagnostic Chart for the Pretest and Calculate your score.

10.    Determine your score by multiplying the number correct by 5.

11.    Determine which type of question you missed most and go back and review the Reading Strategies for that type of question.

12.    For additional work on Reading Strategies, Speed Reading, and NET preparation visit the Henry Ford Community College Learning Lab or the additional websites listed below.
