About the Mathematics Component of the NET

On the real NET you will see one question at a time.

When you take the real NET you will use the spacebar and enter key to answer questions.  You will not have a mouse and you will not be able to use the arrow keys.

Always reduce fractions on the NET.  (Pick 3/5 instead of 6/10).

You will not be allowed to use a calculator on the NET.

Only spend about 20 minutes on this pretest.  If you take longer than 20 minutes you will probably take too long on the NET and will need to practice to improve your speed.  (The NET has 60 questions in 60 minutes).

When ready click on the Math NET Pretest link to continue.  This will take you to a printable test  (Adobe Acrobat Reader required).  Print the test.  When you finish taking the test go back to NET review Materials to check your work.
